Matthew A. Galante


Mr. Galante received his B.A. from Cornell University, double majoring in History and Government and graduating Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his law degree from Columbia Law School, graduating with distinction in foreign and comparative law. He was an editor of the Columbia Journal of European Law, as well as a senior editor of the American Review of International Arbitration.
Mr. Galante concentrates his practice in Education Law, Labor & Employment Law, Construction Law, and Municipal Law. He regularly advises clients on the intricacies of federal and state educational policies and regulations, relating to a wide array of substantive subjects, including student disciplinary hearings, employment disputes, and special education law.
Mr. Galante has extensive experience in a wide range of fields, having developed expertise in trusts and estates, real estate, securities law, and complex commercial litigation. Previous clients have included major companies in the financial services industry, real estate developers, municipalities, and labor unions.
