Ms. Kahn is a graduate of Brandeis University and Hofstra University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in New York State Courts and the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Ms. Kahn was employed as Associate General Counsel to a publicly traded banking corporation and in private real estate practice. Ms. Kahn interned in the areas of commercial and appellate litigation as well as education and labor and employment law. While in law school, Ms. Kahn participated in Moot Court and served as a Student Ambassador for the Director of Admissions of Hofstra University School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Kahn served as an intern for a Suffolk County Supreme Court Judge. Ms. Kahn has taught in school districts both in Massachusetts and on Long Island. Ms. Kahn is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association Education Law Committee. She attends and has participated in conferences held by the New York State School Boards Association, the New York State Association of School Attorneys, the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations. Ms. Kahn represents school districts in administrative matters and special education due process hearings and advises public school districts in administrative, litigation, general counsel, special education and labor matters.
