Mr. Budnick graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University, in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He graduated from Brooklyn Law School, where he served as Notes and Comments Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Budnick was a Legal Fellow with Safe Horizon in the General Counsel’s Office, one of the largest victims’ services agencies in the United States. During Law School, Mr. Budnick spent over a year-and-a-half as a Law Clerk for Epstein Becker & Green, P.C., where he drafted discovery orders for the Hon. Barry A. Cozier, provided support to General Counsel Kenneth G. Standard in his efforts to promote diversity, pursued judicial settlement of intestate estates, and participated in the defense of employment discrimination claims. Mr. Budnick also served as Co-Chair of the Brooklyn branch of the Civil Legal Advice and Resource Office (CLARO), advising pro se litigants in consumer debt actions. He has had internships with the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the New York State Division of Human Rights. Mr. Budnick is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey State courts.
